Smart Carts

The Windham County Sheriff's Department retains two SMART carts, which it utilizes throughout the county. The SMART carts using RADAR technology are based in residential areas, school zones and other areas where speed has been determined to be problematic. We are proud to announce that we have added an additional SMART cart to our inventory - the new one was purchased through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. This cart comes with many capabilities and tools that can also be utilized by each of our towns!
